The 'Recent Times' section includes a number of pictures of lake steamers taken by visitors who were primarily in search of the steam locomotives which make up the major part of this CD-ROM.

The 'Historic Views' sections consist of old photographs and postcards which cover the earlier years of the steamers including those used on the River Nile in Uganda.
