Safari Steam North

The single screw SS William MacKinnon was named after the owner of the British India Steamship Company. Ordered for the Imperial British East Africa Company, the company's failure meant that it was not launched until 1900, 10 years after it was first constructed by Inglis of Glasgow. (KP collection)
