As of late 2024, former Ceper 1, with a confirmed replacement
OK boiler (10462/1923), is known to be privately preserved in the 'Jakarta
area'. This means that references to OK 10462 on locomotives at Colomadu and
Tasikmadu cannot be correct. Since both mills are now closed, this issue is
unlikely to be resolved. As far as I know, the original reference to this number
dates back to ca 1970 and the earliest reported enthusiast visits. Sadly all
those involved are long since passed away. See locos with # below at Colomadu
and Tasikmadu.
Information to mid 2015 (search for 2012, 2013, 2014 etc), updates are very welcome. Preserved locos at Merican and Pesantren noted April
2015, also Kebonagung June 2015.

Kuta, between Kuta and the airport, but by October 2019 it had vanished and the
building it was in front of demolished. The boiler off 9 had been sold for re-use in Sulawesi
(and the chassis scrapped?)

@ By 2003, 10 was at PT Kasin (pabrik kulit), Jl Peltusujono No 25, Malang
(Comboran),
PO Box 79, 65148, nearby stasiun Kota Lama. It has '1941' on the tanks, the staff say it
has been there 'a long time'. This locomotive was scrapped in November 2024.
