On 13th February 1983, Hugh Ballantyne arrived in time to see one of the Baldwin 0-6-0T coming off shed early in the morning. Here some locomotives burned oil and some bagasse, the latter could always be identified by their bulbous chimneys which must have acted as spark arrestors. (HB)
