In early October 1989, Ross witnessed a life-changing experiment at Sragi. All was perfectly normal, with 9 pulling a train of yard deliveries into the mill around 09.00. Volumes were increasing exponentially and people were looking for an easier way, compared to coupling up each lori as was done in the field situation. (RS)
