Dar had the workshops for this section. Until they ceased overhauls in 1972 they finished their locomotives in a more ornately lined out livery than Nairobi (whence the remaining steam locomotives then had to go). Tabora's 1201 gets its final painting in the shed yard in 1968. (BR)
