You could arrive in Uganda by air, by land or by water. Basil Roberts came by M.V. Victoria across the lake of the same name from Mwanza in Tanzania to Port Bell, just south of the Ugandan capital Kampala, on 12th January 1968. At the time, the ship, used for passengers and cargo, was a mere 6 years old. (BR)
