Safari Steam North

Our photographic safari round East Africa's railways starts at Dar es Salaam where 6003 was ex-works in 1968 (with 1201 behind). It still carried the name 'Sir Stewart Symes', but no shed plate like other Tanzanian locomotives as it was a Moshi based locomotive which was considered part of the Kenya-Uganda system. (BR)
