Such events occur all over the country in the summer months, they are easily found by using your favourite search engine and may have anything between a handful of steam engines and hundreds (as at the Great Dorset Steam Fair which could probably be fairly described as having an excess of riches). There was appears to be a fair selection of miscellaneous engines worthy of a good look, by and large this is an area these rallies 'could do better'. The Shand Mason fire engine is, of course, a gem as although there are a fair number in preservation (click the link), this is in full working order.
