Richmond Light Railway Steam Fair (10th August, 2024)

The two foot (610mm) gauge Richmond Light Railway is a privately owned line in Kent, not open to the general public. On 10th August 2024, it held a charity steam fair primarily for people to see and ride steam hauled trains but also to see a selection of road engines including a collection of portable engines. If you are looking for the railway items, you've come to the wrong place!
It seems that a fair few of the non-portable engines had come directly from the Weald of Kent Steam Rally at Woodchurch the previous weekend, I am sure that the coincidence of the dates was no accident.
