Cheshire Steam Fair (July 13th - 14th, 2024)

The Cheshire Steam Rally is run by the same organisation as the Astle Park (and former Ashley Hall) rallies in the same area, so Rod Smith will have known knew what to expect, namely a plain vanilla show with a nice selection of engines. The risk here is that those attending would be mainly a subset of those seen at the larger Astle Park over the years although Rod scored at least one new roller which had been unable to get into 'big brother'. As you will see the cloud bubbled up before all the engines had been recorded in good light. There were 5 engines here which I have yet to see and I guess that Rod will have been similarly rewarded.
