Raj Steam - Western Railway

Mahesana was a classic location with two branch lines as well as the north-south main line and a secondary main line west to Rajkot. The main attraction were the B class 4-6-0s and soon after our morning arrival on 5th November 1976, 31023 (Bagnall 1923) took out a lengthy train past the north signal cabin. (RD)
