The Bankura Rainagar line was formerly a McLeod's Railway and shared designs with their other operations (eg at Katwa). The 'Delta' locomotives, so called because they were intended for the Egyptian Delta Railways, were Bagnall 2-6-2Ts. 10 had been just been given a repaint on 19th November 1978. (BM)
