Stationary Steam in Paraguay - Sapucay Works 2007

Darrien Welsby was kind enough to forward these pictures of the workshop. It should, of course, be preserved as a museum of the steam age....

These are the boilers raising the steam to power the machinery, all (?) ex-locomotives:

This twin cylinder vertical engine (most likely a Belliss and Morcom) was used as an electrical generator:

I am not aware of the purpose of this small engine, it appears to be still in use.

The steam hammer appears active, alas the information on the plate is too small to be read.

The smaller vertical engine will turn out to be a Marshall from past experience, the machinery it drove is a wheel press:

The steam crane is, as yet, unidentified.
