Malayan Industrial Railways

With heavier traffic involving modern wagons, clearly something rather more powerful was required. There is some confusion as to its original gauge with an article in the Industrial Railway Record (#96) quoting metre gauge and other sources 1067mm (3ft 6in), both would be considered rare gauges in the UK.
