Malayan Industrial Railways

The Port of Singapore Authority, previously the Singapore Harbour Board, had long finished with steam and used diesel shunters for the exchange sidings with the Malayan Railway. 4wDM Ruston, Model 88DS, (382825/1955) was relegated to spare when photographed on 20th January 1971. (JB)
