Malayan Industrial Railways

Ulu Elaeis Estate was owned by Oil Palms of Malaysia but had a strong historic Dutch connection, hence the 700mm gauge. At one stage they had owned a Du Croo and Brauns 0-6-0T, but 0-4-0D Orenstein and Koppel Model RL2B (20678/1936) was a surviving reminder. (JB)
