Three more B+B diesel locomotives from GE (44.5/7/8, 34824-6/1963 type UM10B) followed, 44.5 was renumbered 44.6 after a collision. 44.8 was also in Lanjut Yard on the same day. The railway operated from May 1962 and had been officially opened by the Sultan of Pahang on 7th July 1962. (JB)
