The Oil Palm Railways of North Sumatra

After processing, the palm oil leaves Dolok Sinumbah mill with DB Mallet 64 in main line tankers aboard transporter wagons on 17th August 1984. This was Independence day and it was the only train we saw move all day, but well worth the effort. (RD)
