While the Mallets were the work horses, a small number of OK Luttermöllers were the stars. These powerful articulated locomotives have geared end axles and worked the longest trains. 98 was ready to return to Dolok Ilir mill and duly departed 5 minutes after my tour group turned up on 2nd August 1991.
