The C52 were built by Werkspoor, Beyer Peacock and Henschel between 1918 and 1922. They were sent to Malaya and Thailand during the Second World War and Thai Railways 756 (C5217) was photographed at Makkasan Works, Bangkok on 17th December 1975. Some of these locomotives ended up in Cambodia. (RD)
