Stothert and Pitt Crane from Timaru Harbour

Wilson Lythgoe reports on a near happy ending for this large  crane which had been allowed to become derelict, in pieces. It is now in a compound on Washdyke Flat Road. The owner has (2025) made significant progress in conserving the remaining parts. Reassembly is impractical as a number of key parts are missing, assumed lost.
