C1127

C1127 was constructed by Hartmann (1670/1890). It was originally Staats Spoorwegen 123 and later 332 This 2-6-0T had two outside cylinders 380 x 509 mm with driving wheel diameter of 1106 mm. Boiler pressure was 12.0 kg/cm2, grate area 1.1 m2 with a heating surface of 61.1 m2. Overall weight was 31.2 tons with 25.1 tons available for adhesion. C1127 is preserved privately in the Puncak area above Bogor in West Java.. The oldest of Indonesia's steam locomotives to survive into the 1970s, they were found widely distributed in Java and some were also found in South Sumatra.
