C3318

C3318 was constructed by Esslingen (2453/1891). It was originally Staats Spoorwegen (Sumatra) 18. This 2-6-0T had two outside cylinders 360 x 500 mm with driving wheel diameter of 1000 mm. Boiler pressure was 12.0 kg/cm2, grate area 1.3 m2 with a heating surface of 79.9 m2. Overall weight was 37.0 tons with 30.0 tons available for adhesion. C3318 is preserved at Taman Mini near Jakarta. All locomotives of this class were based in West Sumatra.
